PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
yes, i've been behind in the subspace news. BUT CHECK THIS SHIT OUT, NERDS.
subspace is coming to steam on 03 JULY 2015.
[NOTE: it'll probably just open up the client from the steam account. so that shit - likely - won't be tied to your steam profile at all]
that's a friday. so whatever you have planned, forget it ever existed for this one night. if you haven't logged into your shit for years, do it on this night. there's gonna be a HUGE influx of true, actual newbies. granted, most of them are going to get suckered into going to EG or Trench (and stay there), but there's going to be a lot who will go "huh, what's this SVS stuff about?"
this is a chance to fucking murder newbies and not feel bad. sink or swim. you never know, they might stay on..
